It's going to be an Amazing Race for the APRA Bareback title for Brendon Crawley
Joining our incredible team of sponsored riders here at Wrangler/Twisted X, we are very excited to introduce Brendon Crawley.
Brendon, his wife and 3 boys reside in Yass, NSW, when they aren’t living on the road heading to rodeo after rodeo. Brendon’s hard work and dedication to the sport of rodeo, has led him to chasing his dreams.
Brendon is a 3rd generation cowboy. He originally began riding steers as a junior, then progressed to bull riding until he moved into bareback riding. Ultimately, Brendon credits is father as his best influence.
This talented bareback competitor would best be described as funny, outgoing, positive, determined, and caring but above all, a devoted family man. With a bareback title at the forefront of Brendon’s goal, for now, his most memorable moment competing is winning Warwick rodeo and getting to do the victory lap!
This is the part of the interview when we ask our team here at Wrangler and Twisted X to show some support for the next generation in their chosen sport, bareback riding in Brendon’s case. We like to give our professional riders the opportunity to offer some words of wisdom for their journey ahead. This is what Brendon had to say, “Don’t be afraid to reach out to ask for help/questions from the more experienced cowboys. Most of all just have fun, take the positives out of each and every ride.”
Here’s a fun fact you wouldn’t know about Brendon, he’s terrified of frogs! Some may also know him as the winner of the Amazing Race Australia 2021.
We can’t help ourselves, when catching up with our professional riders we just must ask what their best fashion tip is. Brendon’s response was, “Shop Wrangler and Twisted X, let their clothing do the talking.”
With western fashion trends being our main focus, you can’t blame us for asking, as it’s always interesting to hear people’s fashion ideas.
With the 2023 competition year completed, Brendon’s main goal was to win the APRA Pro Tour Bareback Title and the Rookie Bareback Title, and both became a reality.
Bring on an exciting 2024 competition season!
